drinking sam's whiskey at 1.99 a shot
sure tastes good, on the rocks sucking it through a tube
oh it sure hits the spot
and takes away those god damn blues

All of a sudden out breaks a fight
some out of town punk, been mouthing it off all night
he sure as, bitten off more than he can chew (oh yeah)
cause when sam's locals get through with him
he's gonna be staring at the moon (come rain or shine)

Well in pops Jim and Harry, then in pops Stew
they sure can get rowdy when they've had a few
but the folks don't mind, especially when they'll buy you a drink or two
oh it sure hits the spot
down at sam's with the regular crew.
