Walking In One's Own Footsteps

from Piano Pieces by Lee Lucas

/

about

"Walking In One's Own Footsteps" was another improvisation I done for the Sharecloud Sunday Group on Soundcloud and was done the 15th January 2012. It's very much an improvisation piece I am proud to have done, and goes over many chord progressions over its little journey.

Most of its chords I used for this piece can be found in a piece entitled "Gone But Not Forgotten" which is a piece by my god of the keyboards Rick Wakeman. I had been playing his piece for years, and very much decided to joggle his chords around a bit, and add a few of my own along the way.

I was well pleased with the end result having played it this way and consider it quite possibly the strongest piece on the album because I never really tripped up whilst playing it, and it just purely flowed the way it did.
